Chemical indicators for steam/autoclave sterilizers only. When used as directed, Browne TST Integrator strips provide immediate visual confirmation of adequate steam penetration into "to be" sterilized load of instruments. If the dot becomes as dark or darker than the color standard, adequate sterilization has been achieved.
Chemical indicator for chemical vapor and steam/autoclave sterilizers. The indicator is added to each load to be sterilized. The colored indicator changes from white to dark brown (with Chemical Vapor/Chemiclave) or from white to black (with steam/autoclave) when subjected to sterilizing conditions.
Materials to be sterilized must be exposed to saturated steam for a certain time at a specified temperature. Only if all three parameters, time, temperature, and steam saturation are fulfilled, will a TST Control Integrator distinctly change colour from yellow to blue/violet (Brown TST-Integrators) or to green (Harvey CHEMITEST™). |

The colour change occurs with the fulfillment of the sterilization parameters. This colour change is clearly recognizable. This distinct and immediate change differs substantially from other products on the market with which a gradual colour change is often subject to misinterpretation. |
