Bioview™ ampules can be incubated in your office. There is no laboratory requirement. Simply follow the step-by-step instructions and within 24 hours you can see for yourself whether or not the sterilization was successful. |
| |
Add a Bioview™ ampule to the normal sterilization process. After removing it from the sterilizer, let it cool down for 10 minutes, crush the sides of the ampule and place it into the Bioview™ Incubator. Crush an unsterilized ampule and incubate it also as a viability control. The two ampules must be incubated for 24 hours. With no spore growth the colour of the sterilized ampule remains violet. If it should become yellow, sterilization did not occur. The control ampule should turn yellow as the unsterilized bacterial spores begin to grow. The results in each case are entered by you or your assistant into your testing records. |
